'The Devils' were an official Manchester United digital collection series, released by Tezos, club sponsor, in 2022. This followed the release of the inaugural collection called 'The Keys' in the same year. Inspired by the past, present and future of the Club, 7,777 non-fungible token (NFT) 'Devils' were released to fans in December 2022, at an initial mint price of 30 Tezos (a cryptocurrency). Minted on the Tezos blockchain, the Devils sold out within a few days of launch, and can now be acquired on secondary NFT markets, such as objkt.com.
The Devil's Digital Collectibles

Each Devil NFT was unique, both visually, and also in terms of the digital 'traits' aligned to each collectible. In the months following launch, the club 'gifted' further exclusive NFTs to holders of The Devils. Holders were also, from time to time, offered free prize draw entries, including opportunities to win signed merchandise and VIP tickets for both the men's and women's teams.
Active promotion of The Devil's formally ended in 2025, which saw a reduction in resale prices on secondary NFT markets. ManUtdProgs views these digital collectibles, similar to match-day programmes, as a unique part of the club's history; as the first unique Manchester United Digital Collectibles.
The Devil Rarity Index below seeks to estimate the rarity of each Devil NFT, based on the mix of traits present. A higher Rarity Index scores indicates a rarer Devil. However, this doesn't necessarily translate to value.
To use the Devil Rarity Index select the traits of a Devil by clicking on the lists below and selecting the appropriate traits. You can see the traits of individual Devils on marketplaces such as objkt.com. The Overall Rarity Index Score is shown in yellow if you are using a compatible browser. For comparison purposes, the rarest Devil has a score of 23,336.25 (Token ID 6,739).

The Devil's Traits
Shortly after launch, it was announced that several Devil 'traits' would yield additional utility, linked to on-pitch moments, for both the Manchester United men's and women's teams.
Traits were values associated with each NFT (i.e. captured in the digital NFT code, and depicted on the image itself).
Utility was by way of exclusive gifted NFTs, available to holders of Devils with certain traits - see image (source: The Devil's Official Discord Channel).
This utility changed several times after launch, creating a more dynamic resale market, in which values fluctuated. The image to the left (posted on the official Discord group in August 2024), illustrates the utility breakdown and rewards at that time, which was linked to the online Fantasy United game.
Devil NFTs with traits that attracted utility commanded a significant premium on secondary NFT markets (regardless of their Overall Rarity Index score). For example, during 2024, it was common to see 'Red' coloured Devils with the 'Scarf' trait selling for more than 'Green' coloured Devils (which are inherently rarer) on the secondary NFT markets.
