1968 World Club Cup

A rare 1968 World Club Cup programme, previously part of the personal collection of lifelong United supporter, Paul Atkinson, has achieved a hammer price of £10K (towards the lower end of the £10K-15K estimate).

The programme was not released to the public, and was only available to club Directors, Management and members of the press. As such, it is a very sought after Manchester United programme, that is rarely available as part of a public auction.

Manchester United lost the match 1-0 to Estudiantes, before then subsequently drawing the home leg 1-0, thus handing Estudiantes a 2-1 victory overall.
