1909 FA Cup Final

A programme from Manchester United's first FA Cup final has sold for £8,500 at a Sportinggold auction.

This is a marked reduction from previous sales, partly reflecting condition, but also showing how programmes can track on the field success.

Despite the reduction, the W.H.Smith Souvenir Card remains one of the most sought after programmes for Manchester United programme collectors.

A previous version of this programme sold in 2012 for a then world record price of £23,500.
